Consultancy

I have been working in consultancy projects for over 17 years (!).

Since 2018 I have been part of several consultancy and research projects as an independent part-time adviser. I’ve contributed with modelling and analysis on topics including social survey data analysis, highway traffic forecasting and transport demand studies in general.

The following is a short summary of the projects I have worked on throughout the years:

Surveys and data collection

In 2024 I was invited to collaborate with the National Centre for Social Research along with Professor Olga Maslovskaya. We served as consultants on the expert review panel for conducting cognitive/user testing on the National Survey for Wales (NSW), which is transitioning from a telephone interviewing design to a push-to-web design. The Expert review panel activities took place on 22 of May and were funded by the Welsh Government.

During my time in Chile, I did consultancy work for several public agencies in Chile, including:

Transport modelling and forecasting

Highway traffic modelling and forecasting for several entities, including:

Other roles

Between 2019 and 2024 I assisted Professors Elisabetta Cherchi and Juan de Dios Ortúzar in their roles as Co-Editors-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, one of the leading journals in the transportation field.

I previously worked at DICTUC, a subsidiary company of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, from 2007 to 2018. I took part in several projects, mostly involving transport data collection and analysis, as well as econometric and statistical modelling.
